Altered State | Lesley Nowlin Blessing

In the natural world, particularly those corners with which we are intimately familiar, lies an energy and consciousness that mirrors our own experiences of change, grief, and acceptance. This was never more true for me than the time I spent developing this body of work from photographs taken at our family’s beloved Far View Ranch after the death of my father. With Altered State, I engage a process that accentuates the way nature harbors and holds the energy of consciousness, present and mysterious all around us.
